Managing Finances by Budgeting for Home Maintenance Expenses
Spent an evening going through statements and cancelled a service I wasn’t using. It’s not a huge amount, but I’ve redirected the monthly savings into a home-maintenance category instead of letting it disappear into the general account. One nonessential purchase will have to wait, which is fine. I wanted to feel secure and what I got was a small system that might help me get there. I still worry one repair could wipe it out, but at least the money finally has a purpose.
