Navigating Unclear Intentions in New Romantic Connections
I’ve been having really warm conversations with someone, but whenever meeting comes up, the answer gets vague. Not even asking for a relationship declaration—just an actual plan and some sense that they’re open to seeing where this goes. I’m divorced and working long hours, so I’m trying not to spend my limited emotional energy guessing. I’ve decided to stop suggesting dates for now and wait to see if they make a concrete proposal. Maybe I’m asking for too much too soon, but honestly, I can handle a no more easily than being kept wondering.
