Struggling with Unexpected Weekend Work Shift Changes
My manager added a weekend shift after the rota was already published, as if my time had never actually been mine. I need the hours, so saying no feels risky, especially when I’m still trying to be seen as reliable. But I already have a personal commitment, and I’m tired of proving I’m flexible by quietly giving up whatever I had planned. I’m thinking of asking which existing shift or task is supposed to move before I agree to this one. That seems reasonable, doesn’t it?
